Caring Canines Visiting Therapy Dogs, Inc.

Shaggy

Shaggy is a Sheepdog.

She gets along well with all the team dogs, which is very important, as that's one of the first qualifications
we look for when evaluating dogs that are applying to become Caring Canines.

Her obedience skills are excellent.  "Shaggy, sit!"
Shaggy is friendly, well-behaved, and really enjoys meeting people. These are important qualities for therapy dogs.  Shaggy is a regular cast member in the monthly shows we put on at Children's Hospital Boston and participates in other pediatric visits.  But because adults also enjoy marionettes, we sometimes include Shaggy on general visits.

Like most Caring Canine therapy dogs, Shaggy is tired after a visit and likes to take a nap.

Shaggy's puppy, Nugget, also participates in some of Caring Canines' pediatric visits.
