| I am Hurley and I am a
schnoodle. My
mother was a miniature schnauzer and my dad was a poodle. My family
says I have the best traits of both breeds. I was born on June 2, 2006.
I was tiny when I got home, but right from the start I was wrapped up
in Duke basketball! I was named after Bobby Hurley, an All
-American
Duke University basketball player who led his team to the championship
in 1991 and 1992. However, many times, given my curly hair, new people
I meet call me curly! To set the record straight, my Grams made me my
own jersey. I wear it every time the Duke game is on television!
  I enjoy all holidays and have
been the featured member on the family Christmas card since I joined
the family. (Sometimes I let others in, too!) I am also famous in the
family for my St. Patrick Day cards (I am usually a little shaggy by
March to keep warm for winter)!
 My favorite spot in the house
is where ever I can see out the window. I am not a big barker, but I
like to know what is going on outside at all times. We just moved into
a new house and already I am well known in the neighborhood for sitting
on my “perch” in the window. I also like to find the shade on the deck
in the summer, under the umbrella of course!
 My favorite toys always seem to
be the fowl that my Uncle Bruce sends me for Christmas each year. I
never leave home without my duck, but my most beloved is my flying
chicken.
 This is my best buddy Humphrey
Bogart (Bogie). He is a toy poodle. We are two peas in a pod! He lives
in Connecticut with my grandparents. Grams and Pops would miss me
so much when I left from a visit, they got Bogie! He is really good at
all kinds of tricks, including ones with cones and jumping. My best
trick is “sit”. This is us after practicing all of our tricks…..I
am showing my best work here!
